Treasure

Shooting with Treasure and her unborn son, Ermias, was such a beautiful experience. She wanted something that felt ethereal while still grounded in nature, so I brought her to one of my favorite places to shoot- the South Platte River at Riverdale Regional Park, the same location where I created my Devil’s Harvest series. Between the flowing water, lush greenery, and the way the sunlight kissed her skin, she and her partner looked like African royalty, and Treasure carried such a natural grace that made the entire setting feel almost otherworldly. I had never photographed a maternity session before, so I'll admit I was a little nervous going into it. But watching everything come together in a place I already love, and seeing Treasure and her partner so happy with the final images, made this session especially meaningful to me. I'm so proud of how we were able to capture this fleeting moment in their lives- and the beginning of Ermias' story.
